It was about an overview what the project provides in the context of software modernization. However, it lead to interesting discussion about what is possible with the infrastructure and what is the added value compared to standard tools such as Google Code Pro Analytix and others.

Using a model based approach, reverse engineering techniques, and taking individual product line requirements into account gives you a chance to improve the variabiliy comprehension to reach your target.

In summary: The conference was pretty interesting and they had a couple of pretty good talks. So +1 for the Karlsruhe Entwicklertag and I am looking forward for the 2013th edition 😉
